As the aftermath of the brutal murders in Woodsboro continues to haunt them, Samantha "Sam" Carpenter, Madelyn "Mindey" Keefe, Jason Carver, and Josh Hall decide to leave their troubled past behind and start anew in New York City. The four friends, all victims of the infamous Ghostface killings, have formed a tight-knit bond as they navigate the trauma and PTSD that lingers from their ordeal. As they settle into their new lives, Sam, a skilled self-defense expert, takes on a teaching position at a local college while Mindy pursues her passion for art.
