Plot
As the mighty Thor Odinson, still basking in the glory of his legendary exploits, finds himself forced back into action by the sudden reappearance of an ancient nemesis. Gorr the God Butcher, a cold-blooded killer with a twisted agenda to eradicate all deities from existence, has set his sights on Asgard and its gods. With his hammer Mjolnir still reeling from the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, Thor's retirement is brutally interrupted as he sets out to stop Gorr's sinister plans. Alongside him, he enlists the battle-hardened skills of King Valkyrie, a fierce warrior with her own demons to confront. Together, they embark on a perilous quest to gather an unlikely alliance of misfits and miscreants. Korg, the lovable Kronan gladiator, joins the fray, bringing his unique brand of humor and combat prowess. Meanwhile, Thor's ex-girlfriend Jane Foster returns to the scene, her presence stirring up a mix of emotions within the god of thunder. As Gorr's powers grow stronger with each passing moment, Thor must confront his own mortality and the true nature of his existence as a god. The stage is set for an epic showdown between the two, with the fate of the gods and the cosmos hanging precariously in the balance.
