Plot
In the midst of 1980s Soviet Union, Detective Arkady Renko is tasked with solving a gruesome triple homicide that takes place in Moscow's iconic Gorky Park. The case begins with the discovery of three bodies, including two women and one man, brutally murdered and left to rot in a frozen lake. As Renko delves deeper into the investigation, he encounters numerous obstacles and red herrings that threaten to derail his inquiry. Despite being hindered by his superiors, who are more concerned with maintaining the Soviet Union's image than bringing justice to the victims, Renko persists in pursuing the truth.
